Ethan Saucier and John Thomas Tucker have found two more golden tickets during the chocolate fundraiser and have received $20 each. Tomorrow is the last day to checkout chocolate! There is still one golden ticket out there!
Mrs. McDowell's classes completed a fun and interesting lesson Friday! They tested levels of activity to see how that corresponded with heart rate.

Today more chocolate forms were given out during homeroom. We are very close to meeting our goal as a school. If 75 boxes get checked out on Monday, then the entire school will receive a frozen treat one day next week during lunch. Remember, if we meet our school wide goal of $20000 profit, Mr. Rose will have to sleep on the roof.
Students, also remember that the top seller in each grade level will receive $50 cash and the overall top seller will receive an additional $100. Currently we have multiple students throughout the school trying to win the prize for top seller. We have a good competition going!

Our first day of the chocolate fundraiser resulted in four golden ticket winners. They are pictured from left to right with Mr. Rose: Mayson Giersdorf (6th), Rory Delaney (8th), Addison Moses (6th), Kabrey Edwards (7th). Keep selling that chocolate and looking for those golden tickets CGMS! There are great prizes this year for students. If you need a chocolate checkout form, please ask your teacher or visit the main office.

Stokes JAM is a grant funded program, in partnership with Stokes County Schools, and funded through the support of the NC Arts Council and South Arts. The program provides free and reduced group music instruction to students grades 3 - 9. This year our instructional sites will be Walnut Cove Elementary, Sto Co Provision in King, and Stokes Academy.

Please read the following before you fill out the form regarding bus ridership for the 25-26 school year:
This form is only intended for 2025 - 2026 Chestnut Grove Middle School students.
If your student regularly rode the bus last year as a 5th grader at a feeder elementary school (Pinnacle, Mount Olive, King, Poplar Springs) or as a 6th or 7th grader at Chestnut Grove, you DO NOT need to fill out this form.
If you are unsure of your student's bus ridership status last year, or are new to the district, you should fill out the form.
If you have multiple pickup/drop-off locations, please fill out this form for each of those locations (Ex: Morning pickup is at one address and afternoon drop-off is at another address).
This form will be accessible until NOON on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Information regarding bus assignments and approximate pick-up/drop-off times for students already in the system and those who fill out this form will be posted at open house on August 7th.
