
Today we celebrate Aria Adams (7th Grade) for winning the Senator Dana Jones K12 Art Competition which is designed to celebrate, honor and showcase young artistic talents of students in Forsyth and Stokes County. Each school district selected one piece of artwork per grade range, four in total, and Aria was one of them! Please help us Congratulate her accomplishments!



The King Public Library is already planning their summer reading program!


Ms. Selbach's class did a virtual fieldtrip to the Jelly Bean Factory to celebrate national jelly bean day! They also did their own "bean-boozled" writing prompt!










Mr. Morgan's 6th grades classes have had fun making their own birdhouses!



Ms. Selbach's class enjoyed the beautiful weather during outdoor reading time yesterday!

We had some Easter fun at CGMS today! Our Sunshine Committee sponsored a staff Easter egg hunt with special prizes. Congratulations to Ms. Bowman for finding the golden egg!

Mrs. Bouma's class participated in March Madness by completing the DASH-ketball Challenge! Students formed teams and worked together to score baskets using DASH the Wonder Coding Robot.

Visiting Danbury soon? Stop by the Spring Arts Extravaganza at The Arts Place in Danbury to see a select group of artworks by our students and all county schools.
Exhibit dates will be April 1-May 15 for High Schools and April 1-April 13 for Elementary and Middle Schools.
The reception will be Sunday, April 13 from 3:00pm-5:00pm.






Our students had the pleasure of watching Carolina Live, a musical production highlighting performers and musical styles of our great state. Thank you Stokes County Arts Council and Mr. Eddy McGee for providing this amazing program!




Mr. Morgan's 7th grade classes had fun building and racing their pinewood derby cars!
