Our 7th Graders who met their Accelerated Reader point goals for Read Across America celebrated with a fieldtrip to the zoo today!










Oliver Leftwich was the 1st place winner for our district in the Soil and Water Conservation Google Slides Project back in March. He has also won 1st place in the Area contest and will be moving on to States on May 1st!
Congratulations to Oliver! 🎉

Students in Mr. Dillingham’s 6th Grade Science class experimented with the effects of mass and velocity of meteorites on impact craters on our Moon!
Mrs. McDowell's classes had a hands on lesson dissecting sheep eyeballs to learn more about the structure of eyes.










On February 27, the Northwest District NC All-District Honor Bands concluded their clinic with a concert in Brendle Recital Hall at Wake Forest University. Congratulations to Jonathan Rose, 1st Baritone Saxophone, for his hard work throughout the weekend and a fantastic concert. Jonathan had to audition against 17 different counties and be in the top two in order to earn a place in the band. There were roughly 1000 middle school students that auditioned in total!

Congratulations to our Math teachers who were recognized by the Board of Education for being in the top 25% locally or state level for growth!
